Go Hannah,Go Hannah, Go Hannah!

Last night and today have so far been uneventful and comfortable.  Hannah is still continuing to climb that hill slowly but surely.  She is even showing a little more personality by getting mad at the nurses again!  They have started weaning her off the oxygen and we were given the okay to start feeding her by mouth.  Although, I have still yet to feed her since her belly is still quite large, and she is already on continuous feeds.  I really don't want to push anything until we get all this breathing stuff under control and she shows signs of being hungry.

The transplant team came by around 3pm and they seemed very happy with Hannah's progress.  Her labs continue to be normal and the surgeon is still smiling.  The plan at this point is to hope for an uneventful weekend with continuous improvement.  If all goes as planned they are hoping to move her to the floor on Monday!  It will still take quite a bit of time before Hannah gets back to were she was physically, but as long as she continues to head in the right direction she will make a full recovery.

After they mentioned possibly moving her to the floor Monday, I haven't smiled so much, and felt such a sense of progress like that in quite awhile.  I still continue to be cautiously optimistic even though her surgeon hasn't used that term lately.  We are preparing ourselves for another setback especially with the whole breathing issues, but try to remain optimistic at the same time.   I can't say I feel 100% confident that we are out of the woods quite yet, but I like to think we are about 50% through this hospital stay.  If it ends up we are closer to heading home, great!!

That is about all I have to write for today!  It is nice to write a post were I am struggling to find things to say!  I hope everyone has a great weekend, and let's hope and pray Hannah does the same:)
