To be on this side of things is so hard but at the same time so special. It brought tears to my eyes every time I saw someone different there to support us and the cause. At first I didn't want to speak at the event and to tell 350 people why this event is so near and dear to our hearts right now. I thought it would be so hard to do, but in all reality it is a cake walk compared to what we deal with on a day to day basis with Hannah's condition. I realized I was not only doing this for myself, but for Hannah and the rest of my family. To show them that we have the strength and hope to get through this difficult time and WILL get to the light at the end of this long and dark tunnel.
I created a slideshow of our journey thus far and played it at the benefit last night. I wanted to share it with all of you. It shows you in the midst of all of this chaos, we still have a wonderful life, and wouldn't change it for anything. We love each other dearly and this is only makes our love and strength grow stronger. The song depicts how Greg and I feel as Hannah's parents, and we will not stop at anything to get her to that chance of new life.
