Our Baby new year.....

Sorry it has been so long since we posted on Hannah's blog.  Time sure flies by sometimes.  We can't believe Hannah will be 6 months old at the end of this month (1/26)!  The great news is right now we don't have much to post about her condition.  She has been doing well so far and gaining weight.  She is now a big astounding 13 pounds!!  We all got through the holidays healthy, and that was my goal especially for her!


As the New Year approached, we were hoping to start it off right.  Then all the colds got the best of us:(  Starting January 2,  we all came down with different colds/viruses.  Oh how I love cold and flu season.  It never fails, you try to be so protective but you just can't stop it!!  The worst of it for Hannah was a double ear infection and a nasty cough.  She also is starting to get her first tooth.  As great as that is, it doesn't go well with and ear infections:(  Poor girl had it rough the first few days of the new year but she is doing much better now.

Even though it seems like a long road thus far, I can't believe how much she has grown especially personality wise.  She is so sweet, happy, and content.  Although when she is hungry, there is no time for slacking!!  She is in love with her brother and could watch him for hours.  Jacob is so sweet with her and calls her "sweetie pie".  The one who really holds the key to heart is her Daddy.   Her eyes light up when she sees him, and he is always greeted with an ear to ear smile!  She is definitely a Daddy's girl:)

As far as next doctors appointments go, we go this Monday for labs and an ultrasound of her abdomen.  Then Thursday we have an appointment with our GI doctor.  I hope to have nothing really to report but unfortunately with this disease, you always have to prepare yourself for the worse because at some moment her liver will start deteriorating. We just pray every month that it will not be this month.

We hope that this year Hannah gets cut a break because she deserves it after having dealt with enough in 2011!  We hope everyone had a wonderful holiday season.  Let your New Year be filled with happiness and most of all great HEALTH!!!
