Finally after a long morning and afternoon, we got the news we could go home. Hannah and me were so anxious to get out of that room. For the past two days, Hannah has been crying a lot and very irritable. She use to not mind when the doctors and nurses would come mess with her to do their assessments, but lately she would just scream. I had told them that she is sick of being in this room and being messed with all the time. We could only move around with her so much, since she was hooked up to the IV the whole time. I know I was getting tired of those walls, so I could only imagine that she was done with staring at them too. I know some people thought I was crazy when I said she just wanted to get out of there, but I know my little girl! The nurse came in and took out her IV and I walked her out of the room. What happened next.....she stopped crying!!!! It was like a flip of a switch. She was smiling again and looking around in awe! At one point Greg had walked her back in there to get her blanket and she started crying again. He walked out and she stopped!! Ever since then she has been an angel:) When we got home, you could just tell she was happy to be here. Her eyes just lighted up when she saw her big brother.
Now I guess we will just see what tomorrow brings, and the next day, and the next day, and so on......
