Hannah is 4 years post transplant!! We can't believe how much time has passed and how well are little girl is doing today. Four years ago, I would have never thought this is where we would be today. On May 5th, Hannah had her yearly clinic appointment with the Transplant team at St. Louis Children's hospital. After the recent concerns with Hannah's tonsils, we were so happy to get the news that there was no signs of PTLD (lymphoma) in her tonsils!!! I can not even explain how much of a relief this was to us. Hannah's appt couldn't have gone any better. Her labs are next to perfect and she is continuing to grow at the normal growth curve. She recovered from her Tonsillectomy like a champ. After getting home from the hospital, it was like nothing ever happened. She was back to running around and wanting to eat everything in sight!! Nothing was going to keep her down, that was for sure:) She continues to prove to us that she is strong and she has got this!!
Here we are, another year under our belt that we have a healthy little girl!! We are so incredibly blessed. I can't thank you all enough for your prayers, comments, and concerns for Hannah during her recent procedure. It showed us once again that our family is so fortunate to have so many who care about her. It continued to prove my purpose for why I started Hannah's Helping Ways. The support we receive from so many of you means so much to us. It continues to give us the hope we need that this is only the beginning for Hannah.
Hannah will be graduating PreK next Wednesday and moving onto Kindergarten! I can't believe it!! I have promised myself and Hannah I will try and update her blog more. When she gets older, I want her to be able to see and read what an incredible girl she was and is!!!
