First trial run complete & so HAPPY to be Home.......
Well I am happy to report that we got home on Friday late afternoon from the hospital. Sorry for the delayed post, but we were trying to get things back in order and get use to this overnight feeding. Hannah is so unbelievably happy to be home!! She has been doing great so far. She is eating close to the goal she needs to take by mouth during the day and is tolerating the tube feeds for the past two nights. It is so great to see her smile again:) Even though we are so happy to be home, we were treated so great at Children's hospital. The doctors and nurses were so caring and good to Hannah. They did a great job of being accommodating and explaining everything to us. We have learned so much in two days, and the crazy thing is we have even so much more to learn about what lies ahead!
The next step will be finishing her evaluation which will take place on March 27th and 28th. We still need to meet some of the transplant team and do some additional blood work to complete the evaluation. I am anticipating she will be listed the first couple weeks of April after everything is said and done. We will keep you posted as we complete her evaluation.
Once again we want to thank EVERYONE for your help and continued prayers & support! Keep the prayers coming as we are going to need them as our journey continues down the road to transplant!! A special thanks to Tim Pastor, our generous wedding photographer who took pictures of Hannah prior to getting her NG tube. He did an absolutely outstanding job like usual. I will post her link below. Also to my sister in law Colleen for helping to set up some meals for us this next month as we adjust to this new way of life. It definitely helps relieve some stress off of me:) And to all those that are participating, thank you!! To my Mother in law, for watching Jacob, cleaning up at our home, and being there to help with the unexpected leaky plumbing. (Yes, amongst all of this going on with Hannah, Greg discovered a leaky pipe which needed immediate attention.) Thanks to my in-laws they came to our rescue and were able to be there to point it out to the plumber!! To our sister in law Angie and family, for taking great care of Jacob on Saturday/Sunday to give the rest of us some much needed sleep! Lastly, to my Mother for being with me on Tuesday as we did the majority of the evaluation testing and waited for hours and hours for us to get admitted to the hospital!! It was a hard few days but with all of you it made it somewhat tolerable! I know that's hard to believe but is the truth:)

Our continued thoughts and prayers sent your way! Hannah truly is one of the most beautiful children I've ever seen--and that is just in pictures, I can imagine how much she must light up a room.
